Scuba Olympics

Who says scuba diving isn't an Olympic sport. Today was the Northern Nevada Dive Clubs 5Th annual scuba Olympics. There were six events Snorkel race, Scuba race, Obstacle course race, Bombing run, Torpedo toss and Scuba Jousting. I cleaned house and won three of the events. It was a fun Olympics, Danielle and I had a lot of fun. And I won a nice Pelican case and a new mask, not bad for three hours of fun.

Diving in 45 Degree Water

I was teaching a scuba class today at Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe. It was beautiful weather sunny and warm, the water was a balmy 45 degrees. We did four dives, I started with three students but ended with two, one of them wasn't enjoying the cold water and didn't want to finish at this time. The other two did great we did a lot of diving, not a bad days work, it could be worst.

The Days of My Life

The past week the weather has been overcast raining and snowy. So I haven't done much just hanging around the house, working out and teaching Scuba.

Danielle is in here final week of school for this semester, so she has been busy with homework. I am so proud of her, she has been getting A's in everything. Can't wait tell she has May off so we can do some camping.

Another great spring day

We couldn't buy snow when we needed it, but it has been snowing off and on all week. Guess you can't have your cake and eat it to.

Easter on The Dirt

After a good breakfast with my dad and Sis, Danielle and I went on a

little ride up Peavine. It was good to get out on the bikes.

Night on the Town

Last night we went out with my Dad, Sister Ginger, Aunt Ginger and Janet. First we had dinner at the Red

Lobster then over to the Atlantis for some Gaming. The adults gambled and me and Lil Ginger played some video games. All and all it was a fun night, Ginger's Air hockey skills were a little rusty, she tried intimidating me with the crazy look, but it didn't work. Thanks for coming up dad it was a lot of fun.

Boring

When you want to write about your life, it seems like you are boring when you have nothing to write about. All I have been doing the last few days is working and working out. Last night I did a scuba refresher class in the pool it went great. Poor Vic he had a class with 14 people but he handled it well, hopefully there will be no refreshers next week, so I can help him out. For all that don't know. I am moonlighting as a Scuba Diving instructor. If anyone would like to learn let me know and we can work something out.

Camping in Death Valley

A few weeks ago we went camping in Death Valley The average temp in March is 83 when we were there it was 100. The first two days we camped in the valley and it was too hot to sleep. The next three we moved up to a higher elevation. Overall we had a lot of fun, we did a ton of hiking and off road driving. I would recommend it November - March but wouldn't step foot there any other time of the year.

Hiking Peavine

Danielle was in school all day Sunday, and I had a little spring fever. I decided to hike to the top of Peavine behind my house Elevation 8266ft. The hike was a total of 10 miles and 4000 vertical feet, by the end my knees weren't to happy with me, it took a total of 3.5 hours. There was a little snow field on the top, and it was cold and windy. There is great views of Reno and the surrounding mountains from the summit.

First Post

This is going to be my new way to share my life with my friends and family. I wish I could spend all my time with friends and family, but unfortunately I'm not made of millions. Please feel free to post any comments. Hope you enjoy.
